We had a cat pass about 6 weeks ago, RIP Boots. After a week or so it was off to the shelter in a attempted to find a suitable replacement to try and mend my 8 year old daughters heart. She fell in love with a all white cat with green eyes named Marshmallow. Marshy as Meg would say, is spunky and stands his ground with our young Husky and smart enough to leave the old bird dog alone. Been a good and loved pet in his short time at the house.

Well it seems yesterday Marshy and Mittens, my youngest daughters cat, had a game of chase going on and Marshy went through the screen in a upper level bedroom window. This is only about a 14 foot drop. If he didn't have a lot of velocity behind him he should of landed in the bushes below.

After I figured out what happened I looked for a body or blood trail and found nothing so we did some looking around the yard and neighborhood with no luck. I'm hoping he'll show up soon.

I don't know if I can take the look of disappointment and sadness on her face anymore, just kills me.:(

Just because.

I feel your pain, keep looking. My daughter had a cat, she loved this thing, raised it from the day it was born. Well one day I left the front door open (indoor cat) and didn't notice him missing til the next morning at feeding time. I scoured the neighborhood, printed a couple hundred missing cat posters and plastered them everywhere. I searched for at least an hour a night, my daughter was crushed. Well 3 weeks went by and nothing so the wife and I decided to get her another kitten. She loved the new kitten and he quickly became part of the family but she still had pictures plastered all over her wall of her first cat that was lost. Well 7 months later out of the blue I get a phone call, apparently someone had been feeding what they thought was a stray and decided to take the cat in so they went to the vets office where one of my posters was sitting on the wall so now I have 2 cats and all is well, point is make sure you put up lost pictures. Good luck

Thanks folks .:)

We found Marshy this morning. :D He's taking a catnap behind my head on the couch right now.:)

Just got the net connection working again too.

All the Helles are doing a happy dance.:D:D:D

silverbullets, 7 months

What a great ending, must of been like all the holidays and a birthday rolled up into one for her.

We were going to do the poster plastering as well this afternoon, but between a good neighbor and and my daughters loud screaming for Marshy we got lucky.

I'm so glad for the happy ending. These are the things that keep us going! I'm happy for her, and for the rest of your clan, Helle! :D
