We had a cat pass about 6 weeks ago, RIP Boots. After a week or so it was off to the shelter in a attempted to find a suitable replacement to try and mend my 8 year old daughters heart. She fell in love with a all white cat with green eyes named Marshmallow. Marshy as Meg would say, is spunky and stands his ground with our young Husky and smart enough to leave the old bird dog alone. Been a good and loved pet in his short time at the house.
Well it seems yesterday Marshy and Mittens, my youngest daughters cat, had a game of chase going on and Marshy went through the screen in a upper level bedroom window.
This is only about a 14 foot drop.
If he didn't have a lot of velocity behind him he should of landed in the bushes below.
After I figured out what happened I looked for a body or blood trail and found nothing so we did some looking around the yard and neighborhood with no luck. I'm hoping he'll show up soon.
I don't know if I can take the look of disappointment and sadness on her face anymore, just kills me.
Just because.
