Would a rock tumbler word for putting a stonewash finish on a folder blade? What kind of media would I load it up with?

I was think (SCARY) about one of those paint can shakers that Harbor Freight sells. Fill the can with media and rock and roll. May have to line the can with rubber so the blade won't poke a hole in it.

How about using a vibrating cleaner that the cartridge re-loaders use with a different media in it, Should work for small blades. Gib

For brass cartridges we use ground corn Cobb's, for a satin finish I would contact the suppliers of this product to industry or a jewelry supply as jewelry makers use them to clean castings and polish rock. Let your fingers do the walking. Gib

GRNAMIN: try a case tumbler for rifle brass :)

Are you a Panerai collector?
Your avatara seems a Luminor Marina :)
I have the Luminor Marina Automatic :D

Thanks for the additional suggestions. So many choices. :D Alarion, good eye! :) It's a Luminor Marina 61D. Not a collector, though. Just have that one.
