I bought my first Spyderco and was very excited. My brother and I had both ordered them. His arrived and was awesome, I loved everything about it. Mine arrived and it was off center... which wouldn't have been anything big however, upon further inspection, the blade is actually bent slightly. It is hard to open and there appears to be a nick in the G10, as well as a couple scratches on the clip... I don't know who I should try to contact. I really like the design, and I love my brothers spyderco... I just wish mine could compete.

Thanks for any input guys,
Tony

Could you give us some more information?
Like model, where you purchased, and pics?

If you aren't happy with your purchase, the first person to contact is the seller, not the whole planet. Alternately, Spyderco Warranty and Repair can take care of actual defects in material or workmanship. Write a note explaining your concerns, put it in a box with the knife and send it in.

Pics to come. Currently at work. I forgot to mention this is a tenacious model. I know full well that it is one of the cheaper models. I didn't feel i was telling the whole world. I felt I came to a specialized location where I assumed the most informed individuals would help me to find the best path forward.
It was purchased through amazon. I will contact amazon first and then spyderco.
Thanks

You are posting this matter on a world wide viewable forum. The best path forward, is common sense. Return to the seller as indicated above.

Spyderco should have your back if a NIB Tenacious is as you described, but bring it up with Amazon first. I've had good experience with returns to Amazon even if it takes a phone call to make sure things go flawlessly. You should be fine.
If you can, now's the time to get a better model and 1up your brother. =P

If it was sold by Amazon themselves, they have an outstanding return policy. I believe that they will even cover the return shipping.

Agreed, if you bought it direct from Amazon and not a third-party, then you're golden. They have an impeccable return policy. Fill out their online form and they'll more than likely send you a replacement with free next-day shipping and give you 30 days to return the item for free.
