Okay, you are correct in that this was a lousy job of modification, but I thought the idea had merit at the time, back in the mid-1980's. I had envisioned a "super push dagger", based on the Outdoor Edge Game Skinner. Obviously, these came with a gut hook which I carefully ground away in the hopes of making a defensive piece out of it. I liked these knives for this concept because of the large handles and the horizontal riding sheath. Certainly, someone with better skills than I can modify these to whatever purpose you might wish. When I was grinding them, I took special care to not overheat the blades so the temper is as new.
As you can see, the two on the left were cut on a round wheel, the one on the top right was cut flat on a belt sander (and I attached the leather sheath to a Galco ankle holster band, I actually did carry this one a few times on duty...) and the small one on the bottom right is unmodified.
The actual edges are all factory, and the blemishes you see on the blades are just impressions from the leather sheaths.
So, in the interest of selling these all quickly, I will take $25 a piece for any of the large ones, and $20 for the small one. These include shipping and Paypal is just fine. Just post here as to which one you want, and then e-mail me for details.
Thank you
