Well, my BK2 just came! Why I waited so long to get one I don't know, because this is the most impressive knife EVER. My first thought when I opened the box was "holy sh*t". Sorry if the pics are crappy I snapped em with my phone as soon as I opened it, I was too excited! Now I find myself wanting to order a BK7..what's a poor college kid supposed to do! I have to choose now between food or more beckers!

Nice pics man, and of course nice BK2 as well :).

And about college money, I hear you there. I'm in grad school so I'm pretty much not buying anything... (have money set aside for tweeners though). The good news is that there is almost always a contest going on, and then you can WIN A FREE KNIFE.

:D.

Congratulations on the new blade. I remember waiting for mine to be delivered was hell. Oh...if you need more money? I think certain clinics pay money for certain bodily fluids. Just sayin...thats what I've heard...

You buy the food, Eat it and it's gone with nothing substantial to show for it.
Buy the BK-7, It will last a good long time.:)
You must comply, Resistance is futile!!!;)

It is a great ''oh holy crap this things a TANK'' feeling when u first handle a BK2 lol congrats, Ive been tinkering and beating on mine since monday, loves it so far.

that is weird...mine has the line under BK&T on the stamp as well. Must be different time periods.

I love the feel of the BK2. Best way I can describe it is "confidence".

It IS a really thick knife, but its a thick knife that when you get used to it, it can do pretty much everything you'll ever need to do while camping.

On a side note, now all my my knives are first compared to the BK2 in my mind.

Hey Niconi....

Thank You for spending your scarce cash for a Becker.....I do hope that as time goes on that it works well for you.....I like to think of the Campanion as a three generational knife......Good worker for you, your offspring and their off spring......Glad to see you here, in what I think of as the neighborhood.....Good folks....Come back often....

All Best....
