My 1st thread, and I'm happy to announce that after years of living together with my loved 1, I finally popped the big Q and she said YES!

It started a couple of years ago, when I gave her a Micra. You know, for nailcare. And then she started to carry my Maglite Solitaire in her handbag. And today she FINALLY accepted my Delica! So, as of today, my wife carries on a daily basis! Oh, joy!

I'm sure you know what this means. Yes, she does love me :D

Askari,

My very best wishes for both of you. May you have a long and happy life together.

Congratulations and I think that a new custom knife is a great wedding present for you new Wife.

cool!!!

My fiancee carries a Spyderco Ladybug. Sometime I'd like to get a "cute" larger folder, maybe something from SOG or Spydero again. If it looks good enough, she'll appropriate it :)

...Engaged to be married...Poor bastard.:D.:D.

(For knife content, MY wife of 20 years carries the Cold Steel medium plain-edge clip-point Voyager I gave to her 3 years ago, and she uses it almost daily, but hasn't managed to wreck it yet.).:).

Hey, dont' listen to these guys (esp. Glockman ;) ). I will say this though, wedding planning sucks...be forewarned.
Congrats!
Matt

Don't look now guys, but I think the big question was, "Will you take this Delica to love and cherish forever?", not "Will you marry me?". It looks to me like these two are already married.

Keith, you got it!:)

I mean, getting married was kid stuff (expensive, though). Thanks for sympathy anyway - it's easy to spot the married ones! ;)

Getting the wife to start carrying - THAT is a challenge.

For me it took seven years and moving to a third world country where robberies, burglaries, muggings and carjackings happen everywhere and anytime. The friggin' POPE's envoy had his car hijacked at gunpoint! The blade is a good start on her way towards total security awareness.

Besides, knowing that your lady carries is a major turn-on!

:D

You have my sympathies.

Edited to add: Dangit, read the whole bloody thing before replying twitch-finger! (that'd be me)

Now you can ask her the really big question: "Honey, can I buy a Sebenza?" or even better "Honey, can I buy another Sebenza?". ;)
