Got the call from CRK that my left-handed Zebrawood Mnandi is on the way. Althought the delivery estimate was distant, it came ready sooner than anticipated. I went and blew some cash on other wares thinking this bill would come due at some point in the future! :eek:

Can't wait to check out what's in the box. And just made it whereby the cc timing gives me a month of float. :D

Will do. I went and checked and the delivery is two months to the day after ordering. I was originally told around 3-4 months wait time. Who'd a thunk it?
 
admit it, you know you are gona have trouble sleeping until it gets to your door. The last time i had to wait the final day for it to get to my door, i was tossing and turning all night; like a kid on christmas eve.
 
DOH! The knife I bought was a Snakewood, NOT a Zebrawood. :footinmou

That's a beautiful knife. A Snakewood Mnandi was my most recent purchase as well. I had planned to carry/use the Snakewood model for special occasions but one look at it in person and I knew it had to go in the drawer with a couple of other collectable Mnandis. Oh well, maybe I'll convince myself to carry it one day but I can be hard headed so I don't know if I'll have any luck getting myself to change my mind. :p :D ;)
 
I'm fortunate enough to have four Mnandi so far. (Mnandi? Is that the plural for more than one? Like, a Deer is one or many...) But! I still really want one with Snakewood Inlays and a Bertie Rietveldt Snakeskin Damascus blade. That is one awesome combo. Maybe someday.
