Anyone who's spent time here on the porch knows that it is absolutely chocked full of members who are incredibly generous, not only with their time and knowledge, but also with their gifts of knives and other great stuff. I feel like there have been a dozen or more threads of this nature popping up here lately, but having experienced yet another example of Porch generosity myself, I wanted to share this with everyone here.

This thanks this time are due to Mike (aka LastRodeo), who has gifted me this wonderful #15 Scout! I've been interested in these since I first discovered GEC about a year and a half ago, but hadn't manage to get my hands on one up to this point. I absolutely love the simplicity of the "SCOUT" shield, and with the single Sheepsfoot blade, the long pull and EO notch, the whole thing is just fantastic. Mike, I can't thank you enough for this wonderful gift, my friend! I believe Mike was the second owner of this knife, and it had seen a bit of use before it made it to him; as a result, it has some wonderful character, which I think makes it even better. I really couldn't be happier!

That one is a single blade, but there is a two blade version also.
