Am I the only one not feeling the Pork-Shank?

I dont know what it is but when I look at it i see...blah. Now all things considered I might actually get one in my hand and change my mind some.. but Looks- wise Im not liking it. Maybe its the dead straight spine from butt to tip and shallow height. Although it would make a good piercer and be better suited to pounding into sheit with that shape I guess.

Maybe Im just crazy.

it should be pretty light for the blade length. it could slice or carve ok if its thin enough, otherwise it may be a wedge

I'm not feeling it but I do think we all have a wide range of what we're looking for.

Me for example my list is...

1) Something tiny for my hot dog cart

2) A SFNO (of some variant) for a good survival blade

3) A BM of some sort

4) KZ of some sort

So mostly big blades.

No, you're not crazy. We are not a hive mind here, despite what some folk think. I had a chance to handle the PS, but felt that my CABS was a better choice for me.

i don't hate it, but it doesn't really fit any niche that i need filled. I am honestly second guessing whether i need to get involved in the Ganza at all, or wait and get a NMFSH when they come out

I dig the bullseye slabs, & it looks ok for a straight spined knife, but I'm pretty poor, so if a knife don't fit my needs I usually don't buy it. Now don't get me wrong, I do have 2 safe queens, so I will splurge from time to time, but like you, I just ain't feelin' the shank. Who's to say, 2 years from now I'll probably kick myself for not gettin' one while now, & I'll wonder how I ever lived without it, but until then, I think I'll have to pass.

Same on the not fitting a niche ... although from this Ganzaa Im loving the Axe and might snag an elmax but nothing else calls to me.

I am admittedly a thumb ramp lover...and like a little contour to my handles... maybe thats it . Ill prolly regret not getting one as well heh.

I like the knife, it's a good usable size. Very handy feeling, be a great cross draw knife.

I'm really digging it, but that's just me; and the beauty about Busse, if you don't like a certain model, there are tons of older models that you may like, and you never know what will come out in the future.

Different strokes for different folks!.. Personally, I love my Pork Shank!!!:D:thumbup::thumbup:

I really love the look.

I won't be buying one, because money is tight, and I don't see that it would be better than my CABS.

It kind of makes me think of a bigger Cultie, which I loved in hand.

My grandson liked my Pork Shank; it was more his size....:D

Of course, he liked my DogFather LE just as much; a proud puppy in training!:D:thumbup:

I haven't had the chance to use mine yet but I've got the perfct purpose in mind for it. The design lends itself very well to being a 'stabber'. Before you jump to conclusions, I'm talking about feral pigs. Sometimes it's good to be up close...

It's my fav Busse.
Traditional blade shape, convex grind, light weight and all at 10" oal. The PS is an ideal Busse EDC.

Happy with mine. Thinking it will be practical around camp and will back up the Hog Muk when hunting.

I'm certainly down for one. Looks like a great EDC general task knife.

Another thing I've learned... when INFI can be bought under $300... jump on it. It will never be cheaper than it was today. ;)

I dunno, Tom, he looks a LOT happier with the DFLE! Kind of like "nah, dis 'eers a knife, mate."
