I just use the bimetal blades they sell in the local super-hardware store - seems to work great.
You need to have it be fine enough that a tooth is starting to engage by the time the previous tooth is leaving the cut, so the thickness of what you are cutting affects how many TPI you need.
Also, the blade will last MUCH longer if you don't push too hard (i.e. to try and make it cut faster).
