Portable Lansky

Recently I have been using Lansky's angle system's stones to freehand on the field and have been getting great results! Has anyone else tried this? They produce excelent edges compared to what they cost!

I always looked at the Lansky system as being portable, by design.

I used to carry one in my rucksack back in my Army days and would sharpen knives for people in my down time to avoid boredom.
