Portable sharpener?

I want to be able to pack a sharpener for my 3V knife - it needs to be light if at all possible.

Any suggestions?

Since you already use DMT diamond stones, maybe carry one of their portable stones or credit card sized ones?

I use a Fallkniven DC4. I pack a couple little nails and use a stump or log as a stable surface. The stone comes in a little leather pouch that slips in any pocket or pack pocket. Sharpens my scandi's decent enough when i'm away from home.

the credit-card sized diamond hones by DMT are light and not too hard to use.

I use the bali style paddle coarse on one side and fine on the other...works great.

I have a loop for a Swedish fire steel on my sheath, they are the same size and I switch them out as needed.

If you like small and light Fällkniven has some great quality diamond hones that are flat and lightweight.
I'm also very fond of the mini foldable DMT sharpener.. Both work very good on CPM 3V..
