Possible birthday present

I have been looking at the sp6 for a couple of years now. I do not need it just really like the looks and lines of the knife. I however finally got to hold one new in the box at an army navy surplus store and I despise the sheath. Has anyone used this knife with sheath and can you attest to its comfort durability and or functionality. I want this knife but if I get it will have to spend extra money for another sheath. Are there other options does ontario offer a index upgrade that one could pay for when they order their knife

sp6 stheath is not bad ,simple and durable.
the most ugly sheath i have is sp10's ,but it works very well as a stheath for years.

Never seen an upgrade option, but there usually are affordable aftermarket sheaths that fit most of the Ontario line. I don’t think I know of any for the sp6. Definitely the sp10 is the only Ontario knife I have with the original sheath!
