Possible change in macassar ebony Photo added

I just opened my new large 31 with macassar ebony scales. I have 3 other knives with macassar, and they all have a dull, satin finish. The new one is somewhat polished. I looked at the sellers web-site, and it appears that a lot of the new ones are polished. Now I like the polished version, but it does not match my old ones very well. Photo added below.

You can try some renaissance wax on them to get them to match. I have put it on duller woods and it brightened them up a bit.

Thanks. Just put renwax on the new large. Now it has more of a satin look

Beautiful. Renaissance Wax is great stuff. Can also put it on Damascus blades as well for protection. A jar lasts a long time too.
