Possible fake Buck

Hi all,

My first post here!! I love Buck, and have a view.
A guy in South Africa is selling these “Buck” knives dirt cheap on Facebook.

Seems fake to me. Can anyone confirm.
 
need to see it to make a determination. ya have any pics?

Can you see an image? Its a link to the image on a FB group. Cant seem to (well, I dont know how to) add images from my library here?!
 
If u get the minimum membership here it is easy to post from your library.
Otherwise u have to use a hosting site, which personally i despise.

It's a bad fake. this person also has similiar knives labeled as gerber too, also fake.

we've seen this fake before. the x44 and x48 and x57, no such Buck made under those numbers....and they dont look even close to anything Buck makes or made really.

I agree with jbmonkey, there is no actual Buck knife that even looks like that. They didn't even try to copy a real one. :thumbsdown::thumbsdown::poop::poop:
Having a "chat" with sellers of this stuff is futile, they already know and don't care.

Searching "Buck X48" gets hits. Found it on a Pakistani web site (without LC logo) for 1,300 rupees. ($17.36 usd). Also on Alliexpress (Chinese website) listed as no longer available.

yes Sir. you'll see these on the fake selling type sites as well. if ya google, Buck x48, you'll see what I mean.

wouldnt waste my time chatting with him or her. they know theyre listing fakes. best to let Buck know who this person is, so they can take legal action.
