Possible fake domino

Ok I don't want to scare anyone and hopefully I'm wrong but a mate just sent me this picture of a domino he bought and the box is missing the date code...
Hopefully it's just a missprint but Im not too sure if Spyderco would miss something like that?

Anyway Here's the pic of the box and he's sending me pics of the knife now so will post those up when I have them

Should he be worried?? it was a private sale also.

Honestly I've only ever seen pics of fake knives, never the boxes or at least, not this close up. It could have just been a misprint. Let's see the knife itself.
