Just saw this, may be worth the gamble if you are wanting a hardness tester.

I bought one from these guys a few months ago labeled "Non functioning, parts only" and ended up with a brand new fully functioning unit that had a bit of damage on the plastic weight handle. 80 bucks and 120 freight shipping.
This one might be damaged, or might not be. It may have just fallen over and the oil leaked out of the dash pot. Maybe they will send you a picture of the insides from the back.
I took the gamble on mine and it worked out. Just thought I'd share.
