Possible new knife handle material

I've included a video of a very cool car and the whole video is worth watching, but the relevant part starts at 1:40. Pay close attention to the seat back material.

Its called forged composite carbon fiber. Here is the wikipedia link, which describes it much better than I can.

I think its beautiful and the first thing I thought when I saw it was that I would love to see this as a knife handle.

Very interesting and very nice car too!

It mostly consists of carbon and is one-third as dense as metal titanium but stronger.

I like the sound of that! Maybe make the blade out of it too!
