Possible Sprint run, LE, or "Premium" cold steel folders?

Ive always appreciated cold steel's quality designs and their truely robust locking system. However ive never been a big fan of aus-8a, especially when there's all these super steels flying around on the market. Are there any other fans of cold steel that support the idea of doing some kind of sprint runs, LE's, or an all-together new "premium" class of knives that have higher grade steels? Possibly some different colored g-10 as well? And to cold steel, has this idea ever been thrown around? Can we expect this as a possibility in the future?
Thanks to all who comment!

This comes up quite a bit. Some seem to like the idea, others don't want to spend the money. I would like to see some handle scales in colors other than black.

We have lots of exciting stuff in development right now, but sadly I'm not allowed to give any hints just yet

The only reason I don't really mess with cold steel is AUS-8. I would love an American lawman in a higher end steel, I'll take it in CTS-XHP

I think it needs to happen!

Take a look at the following thread link—pay attention to post #109 of Andrew Demko in particular:

I'd prefer ELMAX or CTS-XHP. I use my knives as knives. (to cut stuff) Tough is all fine and dandy, But I prefer edge retention.

If Cold Steel starts producing their folders with premium steel I couldn't see myself interested in buying anything else for quite a while. I can't imagine anything better(for me) than an American Lawman or Recon with upgraded steel!

Will you guys have a booth at the next month's SHOT Show ? I hope you will and I hope you'll be able to give more details by this time...
I'm a huge fan of your tanto folders and fixed blades, I would love to see a Voyager with some premium steel...
