I posted this one over in Bernard Levine's identification forum last week, but the only response was a suggestion to post in the sheath maker's forum and that the damascus looked Pakistani in origin. I will be posting in the sheath forum as well.

Does anyone recognize the maker and/or marking on this damascus hunter and sheath? Both the knife and the form-fitted sheath are of excellent quality and the damascus has a distinctive pattern. It may not mean anything at all, but it came from a northern west coast collection. I don't know when it was made, although my guess would be 1980's or 1990's. The knife is completely unmarked, while the sheath is marked with what looks like a stylized "MSC". Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this one's got me stumped
