Possible to get Notification before Group Expiration?

Hi, I just noticed today that I was suddenly seeing ads in the threads and figured my Platinum membership had expired. Would have been nice to receive a prior reminder to re-up by a certain date. If one is typically sent out, I didn't see it. Is it possible to send reminders a week or so before the group membership expires?

Dang, I can't even access the Cove until my new membership upgrade gets processed. Wish there was a way to maintain user group without it needing to expire in order to know it's time to renew

I believe there is a date in your Paid Subscriptions link you can check periodically. Or if you have a calendar function, like on a smartphone, you can set it to remind you.

^^^ True, that's the workaround, but that didn't answer a valid question.

Does the system software have the capability to send a pre-announcement of membership expiration? This problem imparts itself to lots of members. We see it here all the time.

I use a calendar, but this isn't a stretch to ask. Maybe, maybe not.

OK, well my Platinum membership payment went through, but the option for me to change user groups is not showing up

Spark might also want to adjust the terms of service so that the membership auto-renews unless you opt out. Might help the revenue stream, and the membership would not have to keep an eyeball on the calendar. Just a thought. I thought it did auto-renew, but maybe I'm wrong about that.

I don't believe in auto-renewing subscriptions. That said, you are sent an email to let you know your membership is going to expire, part of the reason to make sure your email address in your profile is current

It has been 2 days since I paid and the system is still not offering me a way to upgrade back to Platinum. How long does it take for the change in user group to become available after payment has been processed?
