Possible to Leave Feedback from Transaction that Occurred Out of The Knife Exchange?

I saw something made by a Gold Member here in Outdoors sub-forum and contacted him via PM to purchase one. Transaction went smoothly and I would like to leave positive iTrader Feedback, but the system does not seem to allow me to leave any feedback.

Is this because the transaction and referenced posting location was outside of The Knife Exchange area?

Never had this happen before.
 
Exactly. iTrader only works on Exchange forum transactions. In fact, you can even see an iTrader link in the original post in the Exchange, lower left corner, Rate Seller.

You can still post in FEEDBACK / GBU though.

As Mike indicated, and I just noticed, you bought something made by a Gold member. That would be a violation on his part in the Exchange. He needs a Knifemaker membership to sell his own work.
 
I understand. I wasn't trying to subvert the system, and the other party wasn't trying to sell anything. He just made a accessory for someone else and I had to have it. All my fault.
