I was wondering if I could send it in for a new thumb stud and screws since it is a Benchmade after all. Do they cover this particular model though?

They sharpened and adjusted both of my small and large Alias about knives this year. Can't hurt to call and ask, but If they have parts in stock for discoed models would be the only hitch. Screws and t-studs should not be a problem.

They worked on my Alias 1 this year and even replaced the lock side scale due to massive lock rock. I was shocked they had the part.

Benchmade kicks ass for warranty work. I've heard stories of what they will do for customers. If a part isn't in inventory, they will make one!!! A guy had a new blade made for his 781 and they re-ingraved the blade with the first production marking he wanted.

Just to be clear, that is with a current production knife for which a blade was in stock. If they no longer have blades in stock for a discontinued model they won't make one. I've sent several back for warranty work with a few requests for blade replacements that were denied for lack of availability. Their customer service is the best in my experience though.

Examples: 730 Ares, 910 Stryker, 755MPR (only had coated, I wanted plain)
