Possible Umnumzaan lock failure? Or maybe (probably) I'm nuts

I have a concern about the use of the ceramic ball as lock up. You can see here are three indentations around the ceramic ball. These indentations push some ti over the edge and form 3 small "lips" that keep the ball in place.
My concern is this: If, when the knife is open, you apply enough pressure to the back of the blade, isn't there a chance of pushing the ball past those small "lips" and the lock failing? I realize that the pressure would not pushing side to side but up and down. I just wonder with enough pressure could you pop the ball out? I suppose even if the ball did come out the tang would still hit the ti keeping it from complete failure. probably

Let me just say that I have an Umnumzaan and I love it. I am EDCing now.
My concern may just be a result of me thinking too much and is probably completely baseless and there may no chance of a failure. After all who am I to question the wisdom of Chris Reeve?
But still I wonder...

Thanks for the pic M2HSSR-910SBK hope you don't mind

I watched the CRK DVD and it showed that the ball is actually press fitted into the Sebenza. Granted that this is the Umnumzaan, but still I'm sure the Umnumzaan goes through a simliar process. I'll be betting that their tolerances are so tight that it shouldn't even be a worry. If you watch their DVD, there are so many different levels of QC checks it isn't even funny.

Ontop of that, even if the lock were to somehow fail (very unlikely, but anything can fail) you would most likely be holding onto the knife, causing the lockbar to stay engaged.

The lock relief is extremely well thought out. Fail proof.

Check out the Strider relief area, thin and looks fragile.
