Possible upgrade idea for Platinum members

Does the forum software make it possible to keep people from posting in a thread if they belong to the topic-starter's ignore list? If so, letting platinum members be able to use that feature might be a good selling point. Okay, maybe we'd all want it, but it'd only be fair to allow it to those who pay the most to play.

I believe that if a poster is on your ignore list the post they make should not show up. It should tell you that the user is on ignore.

Tempting, but not really a good idea even if it were possible. What if some troll bought a Platinum Membership and posted "Kutenziupper Knives sux!!!!one!" and wouldn't let anyone known to like Kutenziupper Knives post a reply?

I've seen one platinum member troll in a for sale thread (not the gold member trolling outside of a for sale thread - saw him, too) get banned, so it doesn't seem impossible that other platinum trolls could also get banned. Also wanted to add the question: does it seem like the amount of people willing to shell out $50, troll, and get banned would exceed the amount of people willing to shell $50 to keep certain someones out of their custom knives and brand knife discussions?
