Possibly a new S35VN Lawman on the way

I noticed a dealer I've used in the past had the American Lawman back in stock. The item listing says it is the XHP version, but I'm wondering if it might be the new S35VN version since according to CS customer service they are due out this month. I sent them an email to ask, but they sent a boilerplate response that didn't really answer the question. So, I just went ahead and placed an order. Worst case scenario, I end up with an extra XHP Lawman to eventually gift away.
 
So you like S35VN better than the CTS XHP or do you want the same model but different steels?
 
Haven't owned a Lawman in a long time. Do you prefer the newer flat grind over the old hollow grind?
 
The idiot girl who I talked to at CS customer service a couple months ago told me the Lawman was discontinued and wasn’t going to be made in S35VN
 
I picked up an old AUS-8 Lawman on the forums. I'm thinking I might buy an S35VN and swap scales. I prefer the thicker scales.
