Possibly fake commander...

I have the chance to buy a 2000 model Emerson Commander, and I have no idea if it is real or not. It does not come with a box which makes it even more dubious than it already is, but I have absolutely no experience with Emerson knives; just what I have read online and I do know that there are real Emerson fans out there that know everything about Emerson knives. So please give me some opinions and facts.
EDIT: Since the pictures didn't show, click the link to see the pictures on photobucket.

In my luxury watch hobby we use the phrase: “Buy the seller, not the watch”. I have no doubt this applies to buying knives as well.

The seller would be the primary consideration, and knowing nothing in that regard, no way to answer. But the knife itself shows me nothing to indicate fake.

The Commander in those pics is the real deal... as long as that's what arrives you're good to go!

If you don't want to get it then pass the info on to me ;)

Legit. Correct logo, domed pivot screw, G-10 texture, and screws. Besides, all the fakes I've seen are NIB condition and this knife has the coating coming off the pivot which is typical for this vintage Emerson.
