Well I'm a little shocked at how much I love the look of this knife, Its so simple but looks to me like the perfect knife. Do any of you guys have one of these? If you do, I'd love to here your thoughts on it.

I only recently ever saw one of these. It certainly is a good 'ol all around knife, but,IMO,that blade hole, instead of a nail nick,is a PITA ,fills up w/ whatever you're cutting.

well I've never handled one but I kinda like the hole, in theory at least. Looks nice either way.

It really works well to "pinch" open, but the clogging issue I'd rather do without
I'd say for "pinchability",wet, cold fingers,it may have it's advantages, especially if the spring tension is tough. Things to consider

Straightforward with clean lines, 1095 and EBONY. Nice all around EDC.

Nice simple Jack. East to pinch open; I like the arrowhead shield and Ebony handles.
I carried one of Northwoods' repro Scagels with the "slot" pull, and it was no more trouble than the usual lint and crap that gets into any knife. But I didn't do any skinning or fish cleaning with it!

When we have them made again, I am going to go with long pulls.

Please reconsider that action. Please?

The hole design is a God send to people with hand problems such as arthritis or tendon problems. The hole allows so much better a hold while pinching open the knife because of the above, or while wearing gloves.

That is a very nice looking knife. I love knives that you can pinch open. Have never handled one of these though... at least not yet, anyway.

I don't have one but it's a real beauty. I like the look of the dark ebony with nickel bolsters. The 1095 steel and size make it a good candidate for an EDC.

I believe they're made by GEC & I'm getting one, so, hopefully soon I'll have an opinion about it other than I like the looks of it.

I'm sorry. I'm a little thick today. Do you own one like this?

It's a very nice looking knife. Looks like a pretty straight-forward working knife. You can't go wrong with ebony handles. As waynorth said; I like the arrowhead shield.

Hmm, that is a nice looking knife. In my shopping for a single blade slippy I never found that one. I wonder if the shoulder of the blade sticks up a bunch when it's closed.
