I just had a thought that I should have checked the other forums to see where we stood with them in amount of posts.
I hang out here the most.The Blade general forum next and then the Shop talk and review forums.I used to drop into others more often,but since the forums were put into categories (for good reason I know) it is more trouble to do that.
I have checked the Community forum to follow a couple of threads I found interesting that were locked on the General Blade forum.
It's too bad the H.I. forum over at Knifeforums was closed,but I do understand the reason.There weren't near the hits there that there are here.If I would have thought that it would have been closed due to lack of traffic I would have posted there more often.It is true that "If you don't use it,you will lose it."
I agree with Rusty and others here that know the H.I. forum threads archieved there are invaluable and should somehow be saved.
I would kick some funds into a kitty formed to save those arhieves if someone would take the time to do it.Someone said there would be some discs purchased or somethng?
Maybe they could be linked to Howards FAQ's and/or the H.I.Website. They are still there for now.
