I know that a lot of you guys here are into homesteading stuff like growing you own veggies,winemaking,soapmaking or imaginative recycling

So share a few photo or two of the littel self sufficient things you do round you home and garden.Just for a bit of fun:D

Here's a small garden I have in the back yard. This pic was taken a bit ago.. I've since put a good fencing around it and have onions, two types of lettuce, broccoli, parsley, and thyme growing in it right now.

It's just big enough for me and I enjoy messing around in there.

Don't know if Iwould call it a home stead but I do try to be partially self sufficient

Chicken pen and dogs the dogs let me know if anything messes with the chickens they are also pretty good at rabbits too. I hate to to them on a chain but the male dog makes Houdini look like an amateur.

The first chickens should start laying in two months another group in three and the last group in four months the duck If we got any hens should start laying some where in the middle excess roosters and drakes are grill bound
