Last week I drove to WY to hunt antelope. I stopped for fuel in Post Falls and then visited the Buck showroom/gift shop. The ladies were quite friendly and enjoyed talking to the gal in the gift shop. I'm sorry to say that nothing under the glass tripped my trigger as I really wanted to buy a 110. The one custom 110 I saw scales were just not my style. I left off two abused knives to be refurbished, a 110 and a 112. I look forward to going back and hopefully go through part of the operation.

I did get a nice meat buck Up the Green River but had to cut the hunt short when I found out my brother in AK passed away suddenly.

BTW, I used my four dot FG 110 to skin out the head - yesterday I took the head to the taxidermist and they are going to clean it up with beetles and make a Euro mount of the skull.

Regards,

Big John

Sorry to hear about your brother John.

I sure would like to visit Post Falls too. Congrats on the hunt, those Euro mounts look good in my opinion.

I like the European style mounts as well. Sorry to hear of your brothers passing. A let down occurance on an enjoyable hunt. I try to remember the good in each event life throws our way. DM

our deep condolences i know you miss him...
our loved ones live on in our hearts..
tell we are all together again..

Sorry to hear about your loss... I've been to the Post Falls facility a few times to visit my good buddy Paul Bos.. He gave us the full tour a couple times, and it is a very impressive place. I like it much better than the El Cajon facility.
Anyone who goes through N. Idaho should stop in and check it out. Its a beautifull place.

I'd like to add my condolences on the loss of your brother. I had a scare recently when my older brother suffered a heart attack. It really makes you realize just how short life is.

I only live a few hours from Post Falls and have been through the facility a couple of times. I woulds also recommend the stop if you get anywhere close.
