John,
My "Patrolman" is displayed 1,000-1,400 times a day on the forums, in the form of a banner ad. All knifemakers (knife display makers too) on the forum should consider doing this, as it is a great way to be seen, and it supports these forums. If you would like to see more of my knives, you can see them by clicking on the banner, or on my link in my signature. BTW, your knife displays look great, and you made a good choice by alowing the wonderful people at Top of Texas knives to display them for you.

A couple of Brusletto knives (sold - don't know if the next shipment from Norway will have curly birch that looks like that!)

Everyone has one or two knives in their collection that I covet, but sometimes someone comes up with a collection, where I covet everything! This time it's Brian Turner, what a great collection!

Brian, if you don't mind me asking, what did the puuko (the custom one, not the Roselli wootz) and the Loppper run you?

thanks!

Joe

Postscript: I spoke too soon. There's a few more of you whose entire collections I covet! Damn, you guys are gonna cost me a fortune.

Badly need update. So many knives to scan, so little time.

Joe -

Thanks for the compliment!

The puukko was a very reasonable $110. Tom is a great guy!

The lopper was just south of $1000. Just an amazing piece of steel. Takes forever to polish, but what a pleasure the work is! Working with John is a treat unto itself. The kind of guy where you always seem to feel good after you talk to him (or handle his knives!).

Squid, thanks.

Don't know how to answer that. I tend to have unpredictable mood swing. My favorite changes every 10 min.

Recently I pick up that RJ Martin Quickening quite often. It's very well-balanced in the hand. Makes me feel good.

Dozier Ranger has the most scary sharp edge.
