So earlier in a New Years thread, I said no new knife buys unless they are custom (or absolutely necessary). On the 31st, I recieved an LCC D/A and I just made plans to have it gentrified. I guess I might have partially broken that one already. Maybe I can take that one back... only been less than 3 days, eh. My revised resolution is to block out 90% of the impulse buy urges and for the other 10%, those will get sent off to Reese for customization. I have a lot of work waiting with him already, so I should get a "cascade" effect as these projects come to fruition. I just bought a full face shield for my grinding work, next step is a respirator for when I start making non metallic nasty stuff. I still stand firm on my goal to have a handmade fixed blade completed before the end of the year. To help achieve that, what was knife money will now be tool money. Time to get the ball rolling.
