Howdy,
At the bottom of each post is a triangle with an exclamation point in it. That's the "report post" button. If you need a thread moved in the future, go to the opening post in the thread, then click the "report post" button. That gives you a pop-up in which you can ask for the thread to be moved. You can also use that to report other issues.

I have moved your thread to "Gadgets and Gear".
 
Thanks knarfeng for moving my thread and guidance on navigating the posting menus. I'm so glad I finally joined the BF community after so many years of watching on the sidelines!
