Post pictures of your Knifemakers Workshop Blade!

Big Chief. The wood looks fantastic finished and sanded. What did you use to seal it like that?

Finally finished sanding/sealing the handle. Obviously I went with a kephart design. Handle is black locust, which I picked because there's a bunch of trees on my property.

Sanding the locust drove me nuts! Some of the wood grain looked like a scratch. I'd sand it out and another would appear. Nuts I tell you!...nuts! I think some OCD was kicking in.

You can see a long line in front of the lanyard hole. The more I sanded, the worse it got. So finally gave up. Not sure if its a hairline crack or just the grain?

First pic is at John's house right after we finished.

Scott, I rubbed some Minwax Early American stain on it to bring out the grain. Sanded it again lightly. Then mixed up a 50/50 mixture of thinner and Minwax wipe-on poly. The thinned mix soaks into the wood/grain better. And doesn't give such a "heavy" coat. Think I did 3-4 coats. It dries quick. I like 320 grit sandpaper. No steel wool, as some wool residue can get into the ingrain of some woods.
