Hey guys, it has been a while since I posted something here in the traditional forum. I thought I would share a few pictures.

I had a few pictures of this knife on hand for another post and thought you guys would like to see an odd ball knife (to me any way). I have another sword brand by camillus but it is a lock back nothing odd there. I never noticed another knife like this, but I am sure there are other knives out there like it.

If you have an odd ball knife in your collection, please feel free to share.

Thanks,
John

The oddball in my collection is the huge Bulldog stag whittler at the bottom in this picture shown with two other stag handled knives.

It is 5-3/16" long closed and the main blade is 3-5/8" long.

It has the sorta standard coping and pen blade on the opposite end. Blades are polished and have nice swedging and well matched stag. It's size is what makes it the oddball. - Ed

weird, that shield is very strange and wheres the tang stamp?

I did not notice the tang stamp until you pointed it out. That is one pretty cool knife. I ahve always liked that pattern, but that sheild and lack of tang stamp makes it very interesting.

My oddball: Hen & Rooster 143DS: Stockman, Canoe or what but it has stag handles and made in Germany. Beefy and good folder:

That's a Behemoth alright:eek:

Really like that top Puma lockback

Since most of my slipjoints have natural handle materials and require two hands to open I guess this would be my odd ball knife.

Byrd Wings Slipit. It's a slipjoint with thumb holes for one hand opening, both fully serated and full plain edge blades, G10 handles, and a removable pocket clip all combined to make up a very practical modern slipjoint.

I guess it would be this baby sunfish due not only to it not being a unpopular pattern but the uniqueness of this particular F&W model with it's Shatt & Morgan sketching....

Even though the sketching is tastefully done I would have preferred it wasn't on there.

Here are two knives from my Buck 'Kissin Cousins' collection. No doubt from the Camillus side of the family. Wish I could find a 303 with that serrated blade........For the Remington tang 'print', they just ground off a Buck tang stamp and put on a Rem shield.. Cami inhouse 303 clones had straight edge bolsters like the Sears.

Can't really tell in the pic, but the tang is double stamped on this Case:
