Post some pictures of the odd ball in your traditional collection

The knife you started us off with is amazing. Thanks. Never seen the like.

Okapi fish knife, made in Germany.

That's a cool knife Corey.

I bought this at a show cheap. I thought it was a CASE knife with a replaced blade. When I really looked at it I noticed it said CASH. I dont know who made it.

Do you think possible that someone modified the shield? Look at the width of the "groove" around the letters near the H vs the rest of the shield. Maybe could have reomeved the top and bottom "legs" of the E, and added the vertical "l" to make an H? OK, probably weird thought, especially with the lack of tang stamp... EDIT: looked more closely and does not seem to be the case (pun inrended)

Anyway, cool knife. Bunch of other cool knives, too !The first Camilus lock is neat - never saw anything like that before.

Peace
Fred

Is this an odd-ball... a one bladed schrade 'trapper'?

Pretty sure what you have there is an "end of days" knife. When Schrade closed up shop, a number of knives where thrown together using parts from other knives. While the parts were correct for the type of knife the stampings could be wrong or mis-matched.

What you have is a knife with an Old Timer blade as evidenced by the OT after the model number, staglon scales typical of an Uncle Henry which is missing the shield and as you have pointed out there's no spey blade as typical for the aparent pattern. Hope this helps.

The fish knife is awsome as well. I too would like to know how old it is.

Thanks guys! It's cool, but not of high quality at all. I know that Okapi transferred its business from Germany to South Africa in the late '80's. I have a feeling this little herring knife is pretty old. :)

The casket is a little odd:

Wirejacks are odd, but awesome:

Can't really tell in the pic, but the tang is double stamped on this Case:
