Post Traumatic Tool Buying Disorder?

Anybody else feels like this when making large purchases?

Patrice

I felt a little loopy when I put this mill in my shop a couple months ago:

Yeah, I gulped pretty hard when I had to hand over the check. But to me, the daunting thing was moving it. It is large and heavy and not something you want to drop. I was a little nervous driving around with that on a flatbed, and again unloading it at my shop. The entire time I was like "what was I thinking"...

It all worked out.

I will look up that thread to see your knife Page.
I don't know much about the SCA but I gathered that being made a member of Order of the Laurel is a big thing and only granted to those who do great work. You do indeed.

I will get the 5 inch vise which is the same one as you posted just sold by Busy Bee here in Canada. Hopefully it won't be too big. I believe I have 1/2 inch t-slots in the table but I'll double check. I will order a clamping kit.

I will also buy an end mill holder (3/8 inch) and a collet set. The only thing I am not sure is if the drawbar for both is included. Maybe I'll give them a call if I can't find it on the website.

Thanks again for your help.

Patrice

PS:Thanks Nathan, I feel a little better now. ;)
