My interest in traditional knives is still in its infancy but from the wonders of the internet I've fallen in love with bone handles. Specifically GEC primitive bone. I'd love to see your bone handle Knives so please post up some pics for my enjoyment .

Most of you have seen these from the other thread, but for clich's edification; I've abbreviated the original post.

Just what the heck did I step into here? All I did was stop by our local pawnshop (I've developed a semi-relationship with the proprietors) to say "Merry Christmas".

I hadn't been in for a while, I usually try to go in every so often, you never know what will come in.

I'm more of a fixed blade guy, but I have recently become enamored of slipjoints (second childhood?), having received a nice stag J. Lloyd in a trade with a member here.

As I walk by a case, I notice a large cased limited Case knife collection (so-so) and a smaller case with a bunch of Case knives. Well, the smaller batch just appealed to me and I asked to take a look.

I'm not super familiar with all the model styles, I just kinda picked out the ones I liked. They've all obviously seen some use and pocket time, but they're not trashed and I like that used look anyway.

They're all marked the same, 1993, and I'm not familiar with these particular bone scales (burnt white bone?) or jig pattern, I just like them.

It's #85 with punch, based on the 2011 Traditional Forum knife.

Another very decent bone from GEC ,but you don't hear of much lately, is their Frontier Bone. Varies considerably in appearance.
