What is the word count capacity for a single post? Or does it go by individual charactor? Blank spaces and paragraph seperation count?

What is the word count capacity for a single post? Or does it go by individual charactor? Blank spaces and paragraph seperation count?

For a single post, there are limits on the number of charactors. Threads on the other hand, the number of Charactors that post, seems to be unlimited.
