The 1911 is my favorite, so let's see some pictures of the best pistol ever made (IMO)! Any variation is welcome. I'll post mine when I drag out my camera later today.

Very nice! My first center fire handgun was a Colt Combat Commander back in 1977.

Kimber Classic I`ve had for close to 19 years. I replaced the plastic trigger with an aluminum one from Wilson Combat, the mainspring housing with a Wilson steel one, the slide stop with one from Ed Brown, and the full length recoil spring rod with a short one. I only use Chip McCormick Power Mags, and have never had a jam of any type.

My Kimber Classic Target II

I bought it new around 2001-ish. It's one of the early II's but it has never given me a problem.

Can't wait to see that.
I just picked up a set of springs for mine so I can give her a tune-up.
I'm buying a Marlin 45-70 next month so my money is going to it for a while.
