Which model # is the one second from the bottom (the tanto blade)? I like it! :thumbup:

That is the 722 (pretty sure without going to check mine). Discontinued but you can still find them. The 720 is the same grip but different blade style, later versions are aluminum scales (not as nice!).

I am still awating the arrival of my Benchmade Grip 551. Been 3months (done on back order by importer) any way it will be my first benchmade knife. Everyone I talked to said that it is a great hard working knife and for the price it better be. $100 is a lot of money for me! Can't wait. New brand of knife to test out and one of their most popular ones as well!

I'm in the same boat as you kind of, only I'm waiting for GPknives to get back to me about the coating on the blade of the 710s they offer. They are only there Tuesday-Saturday I guess so my email probably won't be answered until tomorrow, but as soon as it is, I'm buying a 710 and Benchmite for my mom. I'll be sure to come back and post some picture of them when they get here.
