Hey y'all. Got a little bored today, and after getting my m390 blades I am quite happy. Post your best knife meaning the one you use most often or simply the value of it. Be sure to include what kind of material the handle is made out of, as well as the steel. Personally, my best knives are the following: A Busse Battle Mistress LE, bowie made from m390 steel and black ironwood handles (Not a custom), a custom pocketknife with snakewood handles and a S35VN blade. Also my ZT 0550 with S35VN steel and my Benchmade Barrage M390 folder. (I am a real stickler about wood handles, snakewood was the best looking to me, and ironically, it is very expensive. Look it up) Happy posting! :D

Not my most used but Definitely my best. It still gets carried to work at least once a week I just keep a Paramilitary in my back pocket just in case I need to do some dirty work.

These 2 are my favorite. My Sebenza gets a lot more use though since I carry it to work (construction). My 0454 is for when I'm "off the clock"; I'd cry if I dropped it off a ladder or something.

What is that knife? It looks very nice, nice handles, nice geometry, might want to get it!

I am looking to get myself a cheap, $70 dollar S30V knife for general around the house work. (Dont want to use my exotic wood babies, and a Busse BM is too big, easily) I found this nice Buck S30V knife with rosewood handles. Looks nice, reviews are very promising. From my past experiences, Buck has VERY GOOD (quote me on this) heat treats. Heres the link, tell me what you think. Remember, general house use, meaning cutting packing tape on boxes, some rope cutting, string cutting, etc.

I think you are going to love that knife. Just my opinion. Buck's heat treat is very good . The alpha folder is built like a tank. the only down side to that model is the weight, if you are a go light backpacker then this one may not be for you. However if you're looking for a tough as nails do it all folder you have found it.

Ti handles, 154cm blade.
( BRS Alpha Beast 1.0 is in the shop, and 2.0 is on the way, or it would have held the best balisong title :) )

Folder
- Large Sebenza. Raindrop Damascus, unique graphic.

Fixed
- Matching pair of Kyle Hanson from sunfish forge.
6"&3.5" w2 steel with a gorgeous hamon, and koa handles made from the same tree. Taped tangs, textured riccasso, and balanced like a dream . Both wrapped in Paul Long leather sheaths.

Flashlight

Those are my babies!!

My best knife has actually nothing to do with the actual knife, its attributes, design, or monetary value. My best knives are the ones that have memories associated with them. The first knife I had that got me into knives. The knife I used on that one camping trip we had the best time on. The knives I have gifted to my daughter. The actual physical blades are replaceable but the memories are not.

What I have in my pockets every day. Combined, they offer a lot of utility.

Svord Mini Peasant: polypropylene scales, L6 too steel. Nice all-around cutter. Can be used for food prep, wood carving, cutting things at work.
Victorinox Classic: cellidor scales, inox steel. I use all the tools, including the tweezers and toothpick.

I no longer own the Crawford (top) but I still have the DDRs.

The knife that made me not want any more knives. Also my favorite, and best made.
Chris Reeve Small Sebenza 21

I never thought it would be so useful, but this little Al Warren Wharncliffe in S30V finds its way to my pocket most days now. The cutting edge is just under 3", and it is a lockback folder carried in a suede pouch. The scales are desert ironwood burl.
