Post your country knifenuts' party's pics, pls

hi lachine,

well, it took me about 3 hours to check out all those threads because the pages loaded very slow (bad server or something?).

anyway, i enjoyed looking at the pics and it seems like you have quite some fun in China amongst other knife-nuts.

however, over here in The Netherlands, such get-togethers would be unthinkable: there aren't many knife-nuts in Holland, people who carry knives on a daily basis are considered criminals or up to no good, Holland is very politically correct and knives are "not done". the only i can think of doing over here is sitting in the living-room with some relative or friend and me showing him my knife, and then like "nice knife", "thanks". that's about it...

what also surprised me a little was that you brought your wifes/girlfriends as well, and that they all seemed to enjoy the get-together as much as the guys  . my personal experience in the 'western world' is that women are usually scared of knives plus anything even slightly associated with knives and outdoor-activities.

it sure looked fun though and thanks for the pictures. great collections and lots of cool knives as well

next time invite me too and send me a plane-ticket, and i'll join you :D

regards,
dennis

PS. which guy are you on the pictures?
PS.2. one thing i found slightly tacky was the obviously enscened "cut-by-Spyderco-Civilian-incident"..... :D

persons in the pics are my net pals, they live in peking ,nanking ,hanzhou, etc.

the cutted hand is mine^^^ :D

Hey lachine,

Glad to hear there are people in Asia that are also fascinated with knives! Must say: you guys have an impressive collection!! :) ...I thought importing knives in asia was even more difficult then in Europe(where i live).

Best wishes
Davy

if we tried that here i bet we'd get arrested and put up as headlines on tomorrow's papers :barf:
