Post your Newest CRK family members - CRK New arrivals

Incoming in a few days. Not a real big 31 guy, but I really do like how they look Cerakoted, and I am without a PJ Sebenza Insingo at the moment. I did a 21 years ago and the hole just made it look wrong when painted. Anyhow, looking forward to how the Cerakote hold up for EDC. I have the Armor Black versions, but haven't done anything with them, so this may be one to try.

If I can ever reach him, the plan is to ship this one to Kyle Vallotton for conversion into a DA auto. Will probably resell it if that doesn't happen.

The only other CRK that I own is this Backpacker that I bought off of The Exchange a few months ago but it looks a little different now because I bought black micarta scales from CRK for it to wear instead:

I picked this up second hand at a gun show this weekend.

It was priced a bit lower than I'd expect so I was/am a little suspicious. The guy claimed he took it in trade in a bunch of stuff and didn't know anything about it. It has a box, sticker, warranty card and the sheath is branded appropriately. The thing that gives me a question about it is it's birthday card says that its non-serrated.

If it's a fake, it seems like a very high quality one. The grinds are all perfect and fit and finish is also flawless.

Are there any good ways to determine if it's a genuine CRK product?

I didn't notice until just now, the sticker seems weird, like the actual sticker part is gone and what remains is the part that should have been "weeded" out of the sticker.

ETA: I found some pics of other stickers. My sticker has been used. Lol

It’s the real deal, mine looks the same. I just got this one, there’s been some subtle changes between the years of production, but it’s nothing to worry about.

I’m more concerned about the colour, texture and finish on the micarta…

Also January 2023 is pretty early to see magnacut on a Green Beret.

Edit: The CR logo also looks off in its depth
