The Persistence was one of the first Spydies I bought over a year ago. I gave this one to my son a few months later (along with a Delica). He says it's still going strong. I think the Persistence, and all the Value line models, offers a lot of bang for the buck. I've considered replacing the Persistence I gifted but I think I'd probably go with the new Efficient instead.

Took that pic at Fall Creek Falls state park. You see how close to the edge it is sitting. When I reached back to get it I knocked it on its side. It just about took the 80 foot plunge.

Persistence is my favorite of the budget line, for me it just works the best, very fun knife to flick as well. Sold my Resilience and Ambitious and kept both my blue (my favorite) and black persistence and my black/satin Tenacious.

[War on Packaging]

One of my first good knives, I find it a very versitile, solid little knife and very fun to open and close . Mine held up nicely with nothing but some scratches after years of use. I do wish that I had gotten a higher end model though, with better steel and fit and finish. I might end up getting a dragonfly to replace it.
