This rig was designed to carry either Baldric or on the belt and boy does it work well!

That right there folks is some craftsmanship I have a heck of a lot of respect for! You dont learn that in a day:thumbup:

This one ticked off every beaver west of the Mississippi!

Give me a couple hours, I have two pair now but two more inbound, due date TODAY!

Color me beside myself with anticipation. Not a pretty picture really two of me side by side. Try not to dwell on it.

Well boys and Auntie and Shavru the Eagle has landed. Boy oh boy did Pugs knock this one out of the park, I don't think the ball has come down yet.
A little prequel. I'm large on minimalist, I like a compact clean holster or sheath. Not bulky. He absolutely nailed it to the garage door on this one.
From the beginning......
Triangle box in perfect condition.

What's wrong with a half man that gets excited about a triangle box?........................

Now to the good stuff. You might want to sit down, have your drool cup handy and maybe a beach towel, crying is almost a given.
A lefty on the left, duh? A righty on the right, double duh? and Pugs knife and sheath in the middle.

As you can see in addition to the exceptional workmanship, he also thought of me being a full time sitter, I'm really not lazy I just seem to sit an awful lot. Soooo, he but the loop on mine as low as possible for a nice high comfortable ride. Perfect!

The stamping and border work are drop dead gorgeous and earned a well deserved WOW from Mrs. Bawanna who incidentally would like to know if you'd like to be her cyber hubby.

These micros must be fairly close in size, he made all these using his knifeand they fit mine perfectly. It's rock solid, this was his concern about falling out and mine also since there's no mechanical retention. He said he held it upside down and it didn't fall out but he didnt shake it. I held it upside down and shook the living holy heck out of it and it didn't move a bit. Perfect fit.
I have Ndogs knife too, I didn't think to try and see if his fit well also but I will do that.

Here's Ndogs on the operating table as we speak.

I'm speechless here. I told the missus I wanted to have another son and name it Pugs. Her eyes and body language clearly indicated if I came with in 10 ft of here she'd strike me dead. Maybe we could just change the name of one of the ones we already got.

Long as we're posting Pugs pants and since I'm uncrossing my eyes and straightening my neck yet again here's a pic of the KLVUK sheath he made for me awhile back. Edit to add. He actually gave me the KLVUK too. What a guy.

And a little Beaver for a cheap but much loved little belt knife back in the days before bawanna bowies.

Well break time is over, back to the sawdust.

Pugs, man your the best. I don't know what I really expected but these are way better than what I had envisioned. I guess my expectations are high but not nearly as high as yours. You just nailed it on all of these.
As long as there's an elevator I'll shout it from the roof tops too.

Man those giving my the warm fuzzies! Good to see your KLVUK sheath now that I have one in my hands. Yours looks sweet with them d=rings on the side. I see my Bowie has the fuzzies too. Cant wait to see under the dust!
Hey thats a stubbie triangle box!

Mighty fine work, both of you.
Bawanna, when you're finished with that checkering, I'm hoping you post some pics at the IBBB thread to get it back on track.

Soon Mr. Tall. Ndog's is oiled and in the recovery room. So far I think the operation was successful. Pug's is now on the table getting scratched on. Got one side first past.
He gave me no guidance or direction so I went with skip line pattern. I'm partial to it myself, some don't care for it. I'm hoping he digs it. If not I can usually fill in the skips and make it full checkered. Fingers crossed.

I'm gonna keep going while my momentum is intact. I just finished watching Lonesome Dove for the 47th time in it's entirety while checkering. I'll focus for a bit and then find something else to watch.

Wow, those are all exceptional. I especially like the beaver tail one. I wonder if I could get a mobile phone belt sheath made from that stuff. Sadly I find myself wearing my phone far more often than a knife.

Well im blushing for sure, I am really glad you guys like your sheaths, I am my worst critic which makes me work harder. Bawanna im glad that package got there and I thought you would like the little box, and a big relief the sheaths fit the blade. And you tell Mrs Bawanna I would be honored to be her cyber hubbie. Ill post a few pics of some work mostly HI and a few non.

All incredible work. Very very talented folks here both Pugs with the leather and Bawanna with the checkering and I am sure others as well but those are the ones I have seen so far.. It really makes the Kuhks shine..even the un polished ones LOL
Love the sheathes with the drop rings. Those are as practical as they are great looking.
Bawanna that is some eye crossing fine detail and it just as the sheathes I mention it also adds some beauty along with its functionality.
Lovely jobs you both, I am going to have to save up some funds so once I get a few knives I can call on your individual experteses.

Nice Karda Pugs! Congrats! Also like that long cleaver/ chopper (below e-nep)? Let the drooling and foaming at the mouth begin! Nice stuff Pugs!

I personally don't have a clue. I didn't look that close at first and took it for a KLVUK but I know now that it ain't.

I'm real partial to that knife with the big belly with the ruler under the sheath. That puppy sings! No clue what it is either. The bottom one makes music for me too, just like that style for some reason.

Looks like a big Karda to me:rolleyes:

There is a cool story behind these knives but I can't seem to find the thread right now.

EDIT: Pics are gone but here is pugs' old thread, pretty sure it is a Tamang... http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/824854-New-Pants-for-my-Tamang
