I'm not very computer savy and your site has me ready to scream. I am a gold member and I am trying to promote my kydex sheath business which I am just starting. I joined a few days ago and spent an hour trying to figure out where I can post and all I came up with was your forum that said I had to have a knife maker/craftsman/service provider when I'm pretty sure that when I got my gold membership it said I could now post my service. I can't find anywhere on your site that clearly states that I must get an upgrade and I can't find anywhere on how to make a post (except for this one) and your search function is useless as far as being able to direct me as to where I can find info on the aforementioned topics. I spent over an hour today trying to navigate your site but to no avail, and how do I make an upgrade? Please help.

At the bottom of each page is a link that says: "Terms and Rules." That takes you to a menu.
The best synopsis of the membership levels is found by clicking the menu item "Exchange rules".
This link will take you straight to it:
http://www.bladeforums.com/help/exchange-rules/

From Section 1 of the Exchange rules:
*The only members who may promote or display their personally built knives, their products, or services in the discussion threads, signature, home page listing or their user profile are "Manufacturers", "Dealers", and "Knifemaker/Craftsman/Service Provider".*
As a Gold member, you can sell items you have purchased (or otherwise accumulated); however, you are making items to sell - that requires the knifemaker/craftsman/service provider membership.
As far as the upgrade, generally one would purchase the desired membership, then contact the site owner to prorate the remainder of the original membership.
(If you're struggling with the site, ask questions first - it's less frustrating that way)
