Posting attachments

When I click on the attachments bar, it says I have no attachments loaded. When I try to load some, using the Manage Attachments button below, it says they are too big (approx. 700KB/pic). I wanted to attach some pics from my desktop to threads in the for sale area. I think my membership allows for that. Maybe not??


Please advise and thank you.

If you read the fine print in the error message you get you'll see it says your attachment was rejected because it's over the filesize limit of 100k. In fact there is no point in posting any bigger picture file than about 50-100k because a monitor can't display the extra detail that is theoretically present in a bigger file.

Look at the "save as" options in whatever picture editor program you use for something like "save for web" or "save for email." That will give you a more reasonable filesize. :cool:

If you have trouble figuring that out tell us what picture editing program you use; likely somebody here can help you with specific directions. As a last resort you can always read the help.... :cool:
