Posting broken again

Hi there.

When I try to post anything with more than around 800 characters, I get a long delay and then a big page that shows "website offline". It's kinda weird because it's not a 404 message. It's a 524 "timeout occurred" error. It has a diagram showing my browser (working) cloud flare Atlanta (working) and bladeforums (host error).

I posted about this perhaps a year ago, but didn't really get a fix. I think I was told that this problem just comes and goes. I'm currently trying to post a fairly long how to article I'm writing and I can't seem to post anything more than about 2 paragraphs, which makes it really ugly and hard to read.

Is there anything I can do? It would be really nice to have this fixed.

Brian,
My only teal advice would be to break it into 200 word sections and piece it together by way of multiple edits. It is not ideal, but it may work. Sorry you are having this issue. We will make sure Spark is made aware of the lingering issue. If you could somehow post a screen grap or screen shit of the error, it may be helpful.

Ah, 200 words. That makes sense. Not very practical, but at least I know the limit now.

Thanks Brian. I'm not sure that 200 is the magi number, don't quote me on that as being 100% accurate. It was more of a suggestion since, I too have had issues when submitting a large post. The spaces also count as characters, as does punctuation. If a post is submitted in smaller portions, the likelihood of success is greater. I hope Spark finds the screenshot helpful. Thanks again.

I can even add to it later with editing. But if I take away the big block of text, it won't accept the rest of my post!

Oh and thanks for letting me know who Spark is. I probably should have known that. :)

I'm using a workaround for now. I'm pasting in about 1000 dashes before my long posts, and it seems to work no problem. Looks something like this.

Then lots of text here and the forum accepts it. I have NO idea why this works, but it's working ok for now, even if it's a little ugly.

I'm getting same problem since yesterday morning when I tried to edit my post to add one short sentence. I tried logging off site and restarting laptop but nothing works.
